Lehigh Acres is located just east of Fort Myers, in Southwest Florida. It’s located about 20 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, allowing access to nearby beaches including Bonita Beach, Fort Myers Beach, Captiva and Sanibel Islands. The Cecil M. Webb State Wildlife Management Area, Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed and the Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest are a variety of outdoor attractions within the area. In addition to Lehigh Acres, Fort Myers and Alva are surrounding towns that provide a number of parks including sports fields, playgrounds, and outdoor programs for residents and visitors to enjoy. Lehigh Acres' boasts a semi-tropical climate and moderate temps: summer highs in the low 90's and winter lows in the high 40's. Although Lehigh Acres is a fast growing city, it still maintains its small town charm by providing a casual lifestyle, a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of nearby cities.
